Wednesday. May 18, 2016. Manila. Miriam was quoted saying in an interview with DZMM a few minutes ago: "It is very clear that Marcos is cheated in the elections. He is VP of the Philippines that the Filipino voted for. He won. I will fight together with him to my last breath until Comelec makes sure they are doing their job properly. Mali itong ginagawa nila, eh. Hindi ito makatarungan!"
BBM was her running mate as VP, while she ran as a Presidential candidate. She already accepted her defeat to Rody Duterte. She cannot, however, accept that BBM's votes did not come up with the number that is enough to nab the VP seat. She knew the other party had a dirty hand in this game. She vowed she will fight until the end until this "ludicrous matter is resolved. Matagal na tayong niloloko ng mga oligarchs. Now that Rody Duterte is the incoming President, we have to fight this for the sake of the Filipino people who voted for BBM!" she further stated.
